DECORATIONS!

Here are some pics of our house all decorated.

Who wants it to snow? I am sad I will not be here to see it. We leave this afternoon for our Christmas in Texas with the families! We may be driving in it in Oklahoma!

Clint's Favorite Holiday!

Yep, that's right! Clint's favotite HOLIDAY is Thanksgiving! We have a lot of traditions, plus, he loves turkey dinner! We always go to El Chico on Wednesday night before Thanskgiving. Then we come home, and I bake all my pies (3 or 4...pumpkin, pecan and banana creme) while we play Clue! Others have joined in this fun filled night as well!

Karen and Channing Gupton will be with us Thanskgiving, along with a freind of Clint's. They all have to work (not me) on Friday, but we will have our house decorated for Christmas by Friday night (another tradition). I work Saturday in the ER (always interesting).

So, just one more day before the festivities begin.

SNOW!

Sunday they mentioned SNOW......now I do not hear that word!! How sad is that? I would love to see a couple of inches on the ground (and then melt in a few days). I hope we get a big snow SOMETIME this winter. When my kids were little, I always made a big deal about school being canceled, fixed a big WARM breakfast, so they could go out and play (and they were out maybe 5 minutes). Now, I just would have to cozy up on the couch with a book and a thick blanket.....oh heck, who am I kidding, I would have CB take me to work....snow days are fun in the ER!

Halloween with the Grandkids

My Grandkids came to Springfield the weekend before Halloween. We had a great time. The above pictures are mostly from SPOOKTACULAR! Mmmuuuaaahhh!

I even took them to Toys R Us, so they could show me what they wanted for Christmas. Silly, I know! I took the girls, and CB took Brandon. Well, the girls wanted EVERYTHING, which of course, makes it easy when it is time to buy their Christmas.

Las Vegas

Here are a few pictures from my trip to Las Vegas for a conference on Mid Level Providers. We stayed at Mandalay Bay. It was beautiful. These pictures are from various hotels we visited on the last afternoon. I went with my friend (and one of 3 Mid Level Providers in the ER) Carolyn.

Slowly rebuilding.....

For those that have asked, I am slowly rebuilding. Did my profile today....thanks for asking!!! Actually this is kinda fun! I can't decide whether to repost stuff (like Clint's wreck) or just start from here. What do you think?

I did SOMETHING

SOMEHOW I deleted my old blog! How can someone do that? I don't suppose anyone can find it? Oh well, so here is the new one, and I will rebuild
