Thursday, August 26, 2010 is my last day at St. John's. It is no surprise to anyone that I am very sad, kind of heartbroken, to be leaving such a great place to work, and such great people that I work with. I have made some lifelong friends, and have learned so much, even about myself. I really can't imagine how I will walk away tomorrow!On the other hand, I miss that CB so much and can't wait to start our new adventure! I am so lucky to be going home, home to my family.
But, I have so many friends here that I love so very much. I can't name them all, but if you are reading this you can rest assured you are one of them.
My grandkids, I have missed so many things, school plays, sports, etc....I finally get to be a vital part of their life!
Well, I guess you can see, I am having ALOT of emotions! Sleep is my only escape! Think I will go to bed!!!

Toy, you're a fixture around here and will TRULY be missed. However, to be a part of your grandchildren's and kids' lives is something you will cherish! They will cherish it too. Have fun!!!

I identify...I made the move up to Michigan to be near my little grands. It was the best decision, even leaving a great job of 16 years, and God led me each step of the way. I did leave Jeremy, Shannon and my big grandsons in MO and do miss them and HSBC. I still am not working for pay, but enjoy volunteering at New Tribes Bible Institute. I wish you both the best on your new adventure
